2K Recruits Apex Legends Lead to Revitalize Troubled Hero Shooter Ambitious Title
The renowned publisher has welcomed Ben Brinkman from the creators of Apex Legends to lead the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently developing the upcoming over-the-shoulder action-packed title known as this innovative game.
Leadership Transition Follows Mixed Feedback
The new appointee assumes the role of studio head at 31st Union following the dismissal of former leader Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last autumn.
On Wednesday, 2K president David Ismailer informed team members about this strategic move through an official communication, which stressed that early feedback sessions had indicated the requirement for a distinct vision.
Ismailer noted that the team is now refining the project with a revised focus, aiming to satisfy gamer demands.

This announcement echoes a comparable action taken by the publisher in the summer, when they hired an industry veteran from Blizzard to contribute to the beloved franchise development group.
Below is the entire content from Ismailer's communication:

The belief in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To further the outstanding progress you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce the new hire as the latest Studio Head of the team. Following a period of conversations, he comes aboard us on next week.
